Some of the chips purportedly beat out Applesimpressive M1 chipin performance.
The headset also apparently removes some of the internal space usually reserved to accommodate users with eyeglasses.
As in, Apple hasnt yet figured out some of the tech to make it a viable product.
Those delays also extend to user testing and data collection.
This is all a bunch of ifs.
Especially in the case of AR.
Then on top of all that, theres the content problem.

That said, these first efforts are more audio-based than visual.
Facebooksteamed up with Ray-Banbut its first pair of smart glasseswont include AR.
Amazons Echo Frames also stuff Alexa into a pair of glasses, but again, no AR.
