Helium is used in the spacecrafts thruster systems to allow the thrusters to fire without being combustible or toxic.
At the time, NASA seemed confident in its commercial partners vehicle despite the leaky helium.
Starliner is scheduled todock with the ISS on Thursdayat 12:15 p.m.
