Maybe Quaids character lost his wife and he bought a new version of her that goes a little crazy?
Thats at least what the film kind of feels likeM3GANbutwith an adult companion.
But, honestly, Im not quite sure.

Lifshitz, Zach Cregger, and Roy Lee, who made that film and are now making this one.
The teaser reads: Hey you.

But if you want to, be our guest and report back.
But you do get that robot vibe from it.
Sticking to just the trailer though, there are some really great reveals and images here.
The wife being handcuffed to the chair at the start.
Her forearm being burned at the end.
The blood, the car, the guns, none of it quite adds up.
Which we think is fantastic.
Companionwill kick off 2025 on January 10 only in theaters.
