It was important that Clayface be part of the DCU.
Hes very much outside of the sort of grounded, non-super meta-human characters in Matts world, Gunn added.

Matt ReevesThe Batman Part IIwill be out October 2027.
At this rate though, it seems likely it wont be out until 2028 at the earliest.
