Androids best new feature in years isCircle to Search.
So its no wonder iPhone users are happy to learn theres a way to replicate it.
However, it invokes Google Lens, which works like Circle to Search on the Androiddevices that support it.

If you follow the instructions at9to5Google, its pretty straightforward to set up.
Youll need theGoogle appon your iPhone and theShortcuts appfront and center.
Then, press this linkon your iPhone to grab the shortcut.
Selecting specific text with this Apple Shortcut is a little more tedious than the way Circle to Search works on Android.Screenshot: Florence Ion / Gizmodo
Under Accessibility, scroll to the Physical and Motor section and tap the Touch option.
Here, you’ve got the option to assign the Shortcut to a double or triple tap.
I would suggest the latter since its easier to distinguish between three taps for a feature than two.
On the last screen, scroll to the Shortcuts section and go for the option to Search your screenshot.
TikTok let me select what I wanted to search for before it went off to return results.
The Apple Shortcut is not as fluid as using Circle to Search.
Sometimes, youll have to return to the screen to reselect the elements you wanted Google to find.
This can be incredibly tedious if youre trying to select a specific line of text at a time.
You cant do that with the iPhone just yet.
Note that this isnt an end-all, be-all replacement for Circle to Search on iOS.
