In 2018,Deadpool 2came out.
What are you thinking watching that movie?

Because that was before the sale you said, right?
Feige:I dont… no, I dont think so.
I think we were in the midst of trying to finishInfinity WarandEndgame.

io9: Right, sure.
Feige:How it was going to incorporateLoganitself?
We didnt want to erase it.

We didnt want to, in any way, besmirch the honor of that great feature.
So what you see in the movie was always sort of the idea of how to navigate that.
Feige:Infinity Waris a 9?
io9: Well, yeah, its big, but theyll come back.
Feige:All right.
Well, I was going to say 10, but ifInfinity Waris a 9, then I dont know.
Feige:I think its safe to say its changed.
And I look forward to sort of clarifying with people how that is.
This movie is a big multiverse movie and it made me curious about another multiverse movie,Spider-Man.
Can you say anything about whats going on with the nextSpider-Man?
Feige:Amy [Pascal] and I are working on it.
We have writers who are going to be delivering us a draft relatively soon.
io9: Thats good.
Phase Four was largely about introducing new characters to the MCU.
And I know with upcomingAvengersmovies, we have a chance to see a lot of them.
Do you think there are any that wewontever see again?
Feige:I rarely speak in absolutes like that, right?
The notion of never ever seeing somebody again.
Weve got Tim Blake Nelson in a movie coming up next year, right?
So I never talk in absolutes like that.
So choices will have to be made, thats for sure.
But that doesnt mean you wont ever see anybody ever again.
[laughs]
io9: So I am wondering, I know youre a big toy collector.
What was this like?
Did you have any say in the accessories?
How did it all come about?
Feige:I dont remember if I had a say.
I think Im pretty predictable in my wardrobe.
I was very honored though.
And I thought it was pretty cool.
And they had my little figure in there somewhere holding a shawarma and a hot dog.
And I said, Do I eat that much that Im holding both those things?
Like I think coffee, I like coffee.
But why do I have to have a shawarma and a hot dog?
That seemed very gluttonous in my opinion.
io9: Well, thankfully, theres the coffee.
And this is my last thing.
I know this movie is going to set up whatever we get to see with the X-Men.
So well learn more about that next week and beyond.
But thats a comic that has so many different teams and different tones.
Feige:Theres a phrase we use often at Marvel, which is Its an embarrassment of riches.
And there are a lot of great X-Men characters in theDeadpool & Wolverinefilm.
There are a lot of great X-Men characters in all of the Fox versions of the X-Men films.
And there are a lot of great X-Men characters that have never gone on the big screen.
I think the success ofX-Men 97was really exciting for us to see people revisit and reconnect with that world.
