Though the text remains undeciphered, certain characters appear similar to other scripts.
Additionally, they noted a likeness to Bronze and Early Iron Age seals unearthed in Georgia.
However, the directionality of the Bashplemi inscription remains a mystery.

Because parts of the tablet seem to have chipped off, the inscription could also be incomplete.
If this interpretation is correct, it would revolutionize our understanding of the history of ancient Georgian writing.
