Over two years ago, Netflix revealed its plans to adapt theBioShockfranchise into film.
We havent heardanythingabout it since then, but its apparently still on Netflixs docket, albeit with some caveats.

As a result, theBioShockmovie will be a much smaller affair.
On one hand, this is a reasonable move on Netflixs end.
Several of its movies dont feel as expensive as they apparently are.
(Go look atThe Grey Manor any of their genre fare as an example.)
If Lawrence can realize his vision forBioShockwith less money than planned, more power to him.
