Well, wed imagine there are a few reasons.
One is that in the Multiverse, anything and everything is possible.
So we may never see or find out why Thor was crying.
It could be some random event from another timeline we never see.
Or, its from a movie that hasnt been written yet or is being written.
LikeAvengers: Secret Wars, in which both characters are likely to appear.
We really love that these stars are teasing us about it, though.
And that theres some kind of rough plan in place is great to know.
