On Sunday, NASA released siximagesof the moon Io as seen by the spacecraft.
Jupiters rocky moon is the most volcanically active body in the solar system.
This contributes to the moons volcanic activity as Io is constantly being stretched and squeezed due to its position.

The JunoCam instrument aboard our#JunoMissionacquired six images of Jupiter’s moon Io during its close encounter today.
This black-and-white view was taken at an altitude of about 1,500 miles (2,500 kilometers).
Our engineering team has been working on solutions to alleviate the radiation damage and to keep the imager going.
