The new satellite spy connection is being built under SpaceXs Starshield unit, which also manages Starlink satellite internet.
Instead a vast, low-orbiting web link can provide quicker and near-constant imaging of the Earth.
At least thats the way Eisenhowers science advisors thought about it at the time.
