ET: This post was updated to include a statement from NutriBullet on the Fliips blender safeguards.
Suppose youre like me and have no shame.
The NutriBullet Flip is a 20 oz insulated cup that contains a 11.1V blender motor in the lid.Image: NutriBullet
The devices lid contains an 11.1 V motor to power the blender, plus a 3-cell lithium-ion battery.
NutriBullet promises you should just over a dozen 30-second blasts of your blender on a full charge.
But whats curious about the NutriBullet Flip is its design.
Its the same as promised by many insulated cup brands like Stanley, Yeti, or HydroFlask.
Weve reached out to NutriBullet for some clarification.
The blender also has an automatic sleep mode that kicks in after 90 seconds of inactivity.
To resume blending, simply press the button twice or hold it down.
The rig wont operate if the cup is removed, preventing exposure to spinning blades.
For added safety, the blender includes a protective blade fence.
