When I saw Matt ReevesThe BatmanI thought Oh, okay.
It was ambitious, but it didnt really stick with me like any of the previous Bat-films.
Watching a comic book villains origin on a big, uncensored, canvas like this was a treat.

DreamWorksThe Wild Robot, is perhaps its greatest film ever.
Its not surprising since hes the mind behindLilo & Stitchas well asHow To Train Your Dragon.
Also, Pedro Pascal is in it as a fox and for that alone were also thankful.

But, I couldnt say no to being among the first to see the new one.
The experience blew my mind by just how far creator Damien Leone would go.
Fast forward a few months and I finally watchedTerrifer 2.Awesome.
I need to know more.
I have to know more.
Be it through professional sports, video games, or new-age anime, Toriyamas influence is undeniable.
Chief among them: the Ghoul with the tragic Hollywood backstory and the outlaw vibes played by Walton Goggins.
To look at him, youd assume hes a villain.
Thats the experience I had with Yukinobu Tatsus smash hit manga over the summer.
Its gorgeous and grotesque and oh-so-real all at once.
It makes my life easier and better.
