ViXiON, a Japanese startup, has a dorky and somewhat futuristic answer with its ViXion01 glasses.

While theyre not the most stylish glasses Ive ever seen, from what I saw, theyre incredibly effective.
But before we get ahead of ourselves, lets explore how these dorktastic specs actually work.
This essentially eliminates the need for multiple glasses or bifocals.

Setting up the glasses was pretty straightforward.
Since I already wear contacts, I didnt really expect to see much difference.
The ViXion01 is rated for 10 hours of battery life and some water resistance with an IPX3 rating.

Im resisting the Geordi La Forge comparisons because the ViXion01 doesnt look nearly as cool as those.
However, I cant deny the futuristic vibe theyve got going on.
Its an interesting glimpse into the future of eyeglasses, and Im all for it.
