With March 10 being Mario Day, theres been some non-game releatedMario announcements.
For the sequel, both Illumination and Nintendos staff will be collaborating on the film together.

We are now creating a new animated film based on the world of Super Mario Bros. Oh, and it was nominated forthree Golden Globesand gotuploaded to Twitterweeks after coming to theaters.
So big was that first Super Mario that it basically reversed Nintendos entire stance on transmedia overnight.
Itll release throughout the month for other unspecified regions.
