A group of friends in two differentCybertrucksare currently driving the electric vehicles through the Arctic Circle.
Their videos are a fascinating journey through North Americas fledgling EV charging infrastructure.
They also seem like a nightmare.

I have been planning this for two years.
What were about to do is going to make some history.
Teslas proprietary superchargers are the ideal way to charge up for this journey, but they arent always available.
And beyond a certain point in the north, theyre gone entirely.
Last Tesla Supercharger of the trip!
It did not go well.
And um, up here, they have one stall.
And that one stall is being used and I have 3%.
I just gotta sit here and wait and hope that he finishes soon.
I dont even know where the guy is at.
Nancy and Rafael arent faring much better.
He shivered, complained about the cold, and had trouble getting the truck to even accept a charge.
Oof, its cold.
Third stop in BC.
The chargers with CCS are a deterrent towards the transition to electric vehicles.
Theyre bulky, heavy and half of the times fail.
Not a great experience even when it works the first time.
Theyre on an adventure with friends.
Rafaels most recent video post is a9-hour livestreamof the group cruising down the Alaska Highway.
They stop roughly every two hours to charge up again.
An hour and 30 minutes into the Alaska Highway video the group pulled off to charge both trucks.
Were basically daisy chaining charges, Rafael said.
Youll be done in an hour and a half, Ill be done in 14 hours, Demaree said.
He and Rafael laughed and Rafael promised to let Demaree plug his Cybertruck in first at the next stop.
