Why was it the DEA who nabbed Ebisawa?
The Yakuza leader first tried to sell them drugs and surface-to-air missiles.
But Trump dropped out of the internationalagreement in 2018, allowing Iran to continue development of nuclear weapons.

The nuclear materials that Ebisawa tried to sell were allegedly sourced from Burma, alsoknown as Myanmar.
The DEA has been investigating Ebisawa over his alleged drug trafficking since at least 2019.
Ebisawa is scheduled to appear before U.S. District Judge Colleen McMahon at noon ET on Thursday.
