When I first sawa videoof Dean Phillips, I thought it was a deepfake of Ron DeSantis.
Since then Ive learned that, actually, hes a totally different guy.

To review, Phillips is currentlyrunning for Presidentin the semi-fake Democratic primary against Joe Biden.
Thats a great question and its actually one that Phillips has been asked a lot lately.
Well get to that last part in a minute.

By Phillips logic, he is not 81 (hes 55), and, therefore, hes qualified.
Newsweeknotes thathe remains underwater by double-digit margins against Biden.
As such, all hes really doing is making Joe Biden look bad.
Which all sorta begs the question: What is he really doing it for?
Nice words about techmost notably AIhave been a consistent throughline of his campaign.
Why is Phillips pandering so hard to Silicon Valley?
The mind boggles at the possibilities.
It could be that hes just trying to seem forward-thinking and modern next to his octogenarian opponent.
Or, it could be that tech broshave been showering him with cashlately.
Yeah, uh, that last one could potentially be it.
He has since referred to Altman as a source of great counsel, ideation, and perspective.
Phillips also has ties (financially, at least) to billionaire Bill Ackman.
Holy shit, yo dont.
Put more simply, if you feed them enough money, theyll say pretty much whatever you want.
